Fiscal Management
The Midwestern Region purchased a software package that manages financial information and transaction activity (i.e. purchases for regional events). This investment greatly increased the efficiency in producing financial reports and individual transactions while streamlining the region’s fiscal processes, and reducing labor. The region also conducted an independent financial review of its 2008 and 2009 statements by a certified public accountant and in accordance with Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services.
